As of 0300 Friday, November 8, 2024, there is a significant delta between presidential votes cast in 2020 and 2024.
The nagging question: Did Biden really get 81 million votes in 2020?
Probably not. But it doesn’t change anything about the result then or now. It was all about swing states and there was nothing there. The obvious problem is that although the Red vote totals are within 2 points, the Blue votes are off by over 10%.
There were well over 10% more Blue votes in 2020 than in 2024.
During a pandemic.
So, I played with the numbers.
First, I looked at the total count, ’20 to ’24. Total presidential votes were 9% less than in 2020. (Note that California is only reporting 63%, so they could increase up to 5 million more votes. Other western states are in the same condition, but with less impact overall.)
Total votes in 2020 were 155.5 million. Total 2024 is 141.6 million, a decrease of 14 million.
Here’s the cute part: Red votes were down (remember California) 1.15 million, or 1.3%. Blue votes? Down a whopping 12.8 million, a 15.7% decrease.
That is extraordinary. Where’d they go? Did they die of COVID? Or from the shot?
Let’s back up. Each state has an elected or appointed official, usually the Secretary of State, who certifies the presidential vote. Once that person says, “We’re good to go, these are the numbers, now go find me a dead squirrel,” the election is certified. That person is required by the Constitution to use whatever accountability mechanism is in place, but once certified it stays that way. Bush v. Gore in 2000 was pretty much settled in that fashion. Minus the squirrel.
The 2020 votes were duly certified. Trump and his legal F Troop team cried foul. It certainly looked fishy.
The problem has always been a lack of proof. No real evidence, no standing, no confessions, no recordings or video. Zilch.
Remember, too, that Fox News settled a lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems for $750 million. And poor Rudy Guiliani, a once great public servant in a thankless job is now passing the hat to pay a couple Georgia volunteers for his defamation of them.
Back to proof, or lack of it.
I zeroed in on swing states, the states of contention and the real tipping point for chicanery. In Georgia, the total vote count was up 5%, with Red losing by about 12K votes in 2020 and winning in 2024 by over 115K. Numbers align, and the GA GOTV effort has been strong for both teams, and the admin even stronger for the governor’s team, since Stacy Abrams accused Governor Kemp, in 2018, that that year’s gubernatorial election was riddled with voter suppression. Without evidence, of course, yet she raised a war chest on that hobby horse, ultimately getting clobbered in a second bid for the capital. I guess writing soft porn doesn’t make you a good judge of, well, anything.
Remember Stacy Abrams? No? Right, no one wants to. She is a pariah in Georgia now.
On to Pennsylvania. Total votes in 2020 were 6.8 million and in 2024 are… 6.8 million! Red votes were up 100K, Blue votes down 114K. That’s close enough. Biden won by almost 81K in 2020. Nothing hinky there.
Michigan total votes were up 2%, Wisconsin up 4%.
That was enough for me. The swing states did not have massive fraud.
But wait! The 14 million Blue vote deficit… what gives? I’m gonna round down the delta to 10 million. Once finalized it will be closer to that.
I look at one possibility. A thousand people each filled out 1000 fraudulent mail-in ballots. That’s a million right there. And it must be done by a factor of ten. Ten states of one thousand false ballots from each of one thousand bad actors.
Not one shred of evidence, no confessions, nothing. Trump’s legal F Troop team threw a lot of money around beating the bushes for evidence. Still zilch.
Another possibility? A doozie. Only one or two actors per state produced one million to 10 million fraudulent mail-in ballots.
We won’t find these people. They can’t confess, because they’re dead.
Okay, I am a bad novelist with an overactive imagination.
But here are the stats.
Alphabetically, not final counts for ’24, Blue vote delta ‘20 to ‘24. Percentage is total vote deficit.
Arizona -441,500 -29% California -3,220,383 -40% (why can’t AZ and CA get it together? I understand Alaska)
Colorado -133,587 -17% DC -61,507 -18%
Hawaii -50,051 -10% Illinois -575,082 -12%
Maryland -439,802 -18% Massachusetts -379,080 -7% (I know I said more than 10%, but I hate the Red Sox)
New Jersey -517,285 -11% New York -1,089,751 -22% (1,000 people one thousand ballots each? Probably not. Just Hillary and Letitia James working all night.)
Oregon -151,828 -22% Washington -264,908 -29%
TOTALS -7,324,764. If I take out California, -4,104,381. Massive number of dead people.
ALL other states, except Mississippi and Utah, both solid Red, were 4% or less in total vote difference.
Okay, maybe the culprits weren’t killed to tie up loose ends.
The question remains, was Rudy right?
Sorry. The Electoral College outcome of 2020 would not have changed.
A strong suggestion for Trump: only say, if the subject comes up, “I told you so.”
The real apologists should be the Secretaries of State who certified false votes, had not a shred of intellectual curiosity, and slept well knowing they approved a falsehood. They should resign and beg the forgiveness of the public. Integrity matters.
Everyone from the WSJ to George Will to Peggy Noonan to me believed the 2020 election was mostly legit and Trump had lost his mind. Perhaps Donnie could see the future, then, knowing that he would win handily and 10 million fraudulent Blue votes from 2020 would disappear in 2024.
The media needs to apologize, too. Or get a priest for an exorcism. Or a dead squirrel.
Forget that. Neither the Secretaries of State nor the media will take ownership.
Was Rudy right? Yeah. Nothing changes, of course, but the integrity of the system will not self-correct without purging those responsible for certification.
Email me if you want the spreadsheet. It’s already obsolete so you’ll have to play with the numbers on your own. I used the CNN “Magic Wall” app for the 2024 numbers. It is an outstanding tool.
The other delta I did not bother with was the difference between, say, total congressional votes vs. total presidential votes in swing states. If there is a massive fraud in the blue states, it is likely that there is the huge gap.
Peace. Out.
Or maybe the post-election analysts are right. That millions of people got fed up with high double digit inflation on daily staples. housing costs, both for homes and apartments, that went up over 45% (in some localities 100%) made people feel helpless. A last minute “switcheroux” from one unpopular democratic candidate to an equally disliked democrat candidate. Maybe, all these things finally caught up with those individuals who voted democrat in 2020. This caused angry voters to cross to the red side of the ledger, with many old guard dems and left leaning independents, who felt like they really didn’t have a choice, to stay at home and not vote at all.
Just saying. The result is the same. God…
